New Born Baby Missing
A new born baby boy has been reported missing from the maternity ward of the govenment hospital here since the early hours of Saturday. According to the police, a woman gave birth to the boy on July 16 and she was shifted to the ward on Friday.When the attendant had gone out, a woman approached the bed and told the mother that the child was bleeding in the ear and took the baby with her on the pretext of showing it the doctor around 5 am. The woman realised her mistake, when the husband, along with the attendant came and asked for the child. Investigations are on to trace the missing child and the woman, who took it, police added.
