Police Invited Application For Fire Cracker Shop
City Police have announced that people seeking licence to set up temporary fire cracker shops for the ensuing Diwali should submit their applications on or before July 31. Those planning to open such shops within the city police limits, including Podanur and Kuniamuthur police limits, should send their applications to the Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City.It should be in form number 4 affixing court fee stamp for Rs. 2, fee remittance challan for Rs. 150,and property tax receipt of the building. In case of Corporation, other department buildings, consent letter from the department concerned. The release said that applications received by 5 p.m. on or before July 31 will be considered and temporary licence will be issued. As per the instructions of the Department of Explosives, road side shops will not be permitted. No further extension would be granted.
