Workshop On CBCS
The UGC-Academic Staff College of Bharathiar University will organise a workshop on “Effective Implementation of Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS)” at the university on July 17. According to a university release, the workshop will be held for principals and faculty members. The workshop will also deliberate on how to make the basic science courses more attractive and employable.
The workshop will make an attempt to dispel the apprehension of a section of the faculty regarding introduction of CBCS in colleges this academic year. It will try to work out a viable system that can be implemented without difficulty. The workshop will be inaugurated by R.K. Chauhan, Secretary, UGC, New Delhi.
