3C Clubs In Schools

The Field Publicity Office has started 3C clubs in schools to promote among students of Classes VIII, IX and XI, career awareness, communication abilities and knowledge of current affairs. According to K.Parameswaran, Field Publicity Officer, students are given activities of various kinds to develop their overall personality. The first year, students will be asked to compile magazines from paper clippings. They can use manuscripts for this purpose too.


Each school can form a 3C club in each division of the same class. One club can prepare the paper clipping-magazine every month till January while the other club can prepare a manuscript magazine for the same period. The third club can in turn prepare a paper-clipping.Each club can elect an editorial board, consisting of two students from each class.All the students will be asked to contribute towards the magazine and the contributions will be routed through the editorial board member of each class.
