Isha Home School Student's Golden Oppertunity
The students were taught the basics of clowning, acrobatics, trapeze, and juggling. As the circus did not involve animals and was a subtle fusion of circus, dance, theatre, yoga and ‘kalaripayuattu,’ it helped in creating awareness among the students about animal rights and the need for physical fitness in order to be a professional performer. The couple conducted specialised sessions for some of the students and teachers too. ‘The students enjoyed the sessions and have become more confident of themselves. They have also become more focussed in their studies,’ said Manjushri Nair, Junior School Co-ordinator and teacher.
