International Symposium
An international symposium on “Global Perspectives in Multicultural Children’s Literature” will be held at the Nirmala College for Women from September 8 to 10. Participants from all over the world and the country will attend the symposium. Rimli Bhattacharya of Delhi University will inaugurate the symposium. Alida Allison from the National Centre for the Study of Children’s Literature, the United States, will deliver the keynote address.
The members of the International Research Society for Children’s Literature (IRSCL) will take part. Scholars from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Maharashtra, Kerala, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, and Iran, will present papers on diverse aspects of children’s literature.Nirmala College for Women has tied up with the Children’s Literature Association of India to promote serious research in children’s literature at the university level.
