Lotus Invested 5 Cr

Lotus Eye Care Hospital has invested about Rs. 5 crore in new technologies and medical instruments, according to a release from the hospital. In its first annual general meeting after the Initial Public Offering recently, it updated its members on the financial performance, business prospects and future plans of the company. The company had a turnover of Rs. 12 crore for the year ending March 31, 2008 and the net profit was Rs. 130 lakhs.
