TNAU Signs MoU With Singapore National Park
Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Parks Board, Singapore, in Singapore recently.According to a release from the university, the MoU was signed by Vice-Chancellor C. Ramasamy and N.G. Lang, Chief Executive Officer of the National Parks Board, Singapore. The MoU is expected to facilitate international academic exchanges, develop academic and scientific relationships, and support collaborative research activities between both the parties.
It will also involve joint projects and programmes in urban horticulture, urban greenery and urban ecology. Students of TNAU will be permitted to take up thesis work in the park. Students doing second year M. Sc. programmes in the university and have a keen interest in pursuing research in urban greenery can take up research in the park. The Board will provide the selected students with travel support, accommodation and monthly internship allowance.
