BU & Suguna Inks MoU

The Department of Botany of Bharathiar University entered into a memorandum of understanding with Suguna Poultry Farm Limited recently. According to a release, the company will provide a grant of Rs. 4 lakh to cover research inputs and remuneration for research scholars and travelling expenses. The Department in turn will help the industry in the development of certain poultry feed supplements. It is already involved in the identification of novel protein sources for the feed industry and development of neutraceuticals. The project will be for two years.
