CTS's "High Q"
An inter-school quiz competition will be conducted by Cognizant on November 1 at G.D.Auditorium. It will be held as part of a “High Q” initiative to be launched by the company in Coimbatore the same day. The programme aims to create a knowledge platform for students and give them an opportunity to interact with other students from other schools and cities. The quiz will be hosted by quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam.
An interactive session on “Higher Education options” by Jayaprakash Gandhi, career consultant and analyst, will also be held. Aimed at students of Standard X to XII, the initiative seeks to nurture knowledge and creativity among the students and make them aware of multiple career options. It aims to expand their knowledge and awareness to current affairs and business activities too.
Students from all schools in and around Coimbatore are expected to participate. The prizes include iPods. Each team for the quiz will comprise three students from the same school, nominated by the head of the institution. There is no restriction on the number of teams from a school.
