Air Force Campus Selection On Nov - 16
Indian Air Force will conduct its fast track campus selection in Coimbatore on November 16 for short listing of candidates for Aeronautical Engineers (both electronic and mechanical) and Metrological branches. The venue would be Park College of Engineering and Techonology, Kaniyur, about 25 KM from here and the interested candidates can register before 11 AM on that day at the campus, Anusha Mahesh, CEO, Park Group of Institutions, told reporters here today.
About 300 to 400 candidates were expected to attend the selection, which would have two tests--engineering knowledge test for aeronautical engineers and common entrance test for metrological branch, she said. AF selection team would declare the results on the same day and all qualified candidates would undergo Phase 1 test (picture peception and discussion test), Anusha said. For the final test and interview, candidates would be issued call letters by Air Force Selection Board, which would either be held at Bangalore or Hyderabad.The training for the selected candidates would commence for a period of 18 months from January 2009, Anusha said.
