Family quiz :
Siruthuli will organise a Coimbatore Day Family Quiz on November 23 at the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences. D. Vijay Mohan, Chairman and Managing Director, Pricol, will preside and distribute prizes. The qualifying round will be at 3.30 p.m.

Celebration :
Sri Aurobindo Society, Coimbatore Centre, will celebrate Sri Aurobindo Siddhi Day on November 24, a press release said. Special meditation sessions will be held at 8, Race Course, at 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Illegal Relation :

Kuniamuthur police are investigating into a case of a 12-year-old school girl being chained and tortured by her mother Bala and her friend Muthuraj. Muthuraj who is said to be friend of the girl’s mother had chained her to the cot and used to inflict injuries on her. The girl who managed to escape by removing the chain and informed the neighbours. The public informed the police who handed her over to a relative.

Conference :

Clinical Radiology and Imaging Sciences in Medical Practice (CRISP) will organise an international conference on “Joint Scanning” on November 23 at Hotel CAG Pride. Experts on joint MRI and Ultrasound are expected to participate.
