Kuniamuthur police are investigating into a case of a 12-year-old school girl being chained and tortured by her mother Bala and her friend Muthuraj. Muthuraj who is said to be friend of the girl’s mother had chained her to the cot and used to inflict injuries on her. The girl who managed to escape by removing the chain and informed the neighbours. The public informed the police who handed her over to a relative.
