DMK Regional Meet In Coimbatore
DMK party leader and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi would be inaugurating the newly-built Corporation south zone office at Huzur Road here and then address a public meeting at Sivananda Colony in Tatabad at 5 pm on Sunday. A talk-show presided over by Prof Saraswathy Ramanathan would be organised at the Corporation Kalaiaranagam on the same day. Organised as part of C N Annadurai’s birth centenary the meet will be attended by party workers from Erode, Nilgiris, Tirupur and Coimbatore.
Others leaders who are expected to address the cadre at the meeting include Union Social Welfare Minister Subbulakshmi Jagadeesan, State Finance Minister K Anbazhagan, Electricity Minister Arcot N Veerasamy, Information Minister Paruthi Ilamvazhuthi, PWD Minister Duraimurugan and former ministers NKKP Raja and Sarguna Pandian. Local Administration Minister and younger son of Karunanidhi, M K Stalin, is also expected to be present at the meeting.
