HIV Positive Children Day Celebration
PSG Urban Health Centre will conduct a Children’s Day celebration for HIV positive children on November 22. More than 50 children are expected to participate. A magic show and dance will be part of the celebration. Gifts will be distributed to all of them. “HIV positive children who have lost one or both the parents to HIV/AIDS go to school and try to lead a normal life despite their illness and the side-effects of the drugs that they take.By creating awareness about their presence, perhaps more philanthropists will come forward to bring cheer in their lives,” said R.Meera, Department of Community Medicine, PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research. The programme will be conducted in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Ladies Club members.
