NCC cadets participating in the AIDS awareness rally organised by the PSG College of Technology and 2 Tamil Nadu Battalion, Composite Technical Company NCC in Coimbatore on Sunday. A rally on AIDS awareness was organised by the 2 Tamil Nadu Battalion, Composite Technical Company NCC, Coimbatore, at the PSG College of Technology here on Sunday. Mayor R.Venkatachalam and Deputy Mayor N.Karthik flagged off the rally, which was organised with an aim of creating awareness on the disease, its prevention and treatment. As many as 700 NCC cadets from various schools and colleges in the city participated. M. Sivamani, Assistant Professor, Community Medicine, PSG IMS delivered a lecture on AIDS. Lt. Col. K. Madhu and Principal of the college Dr. R. Rudramoorthy, participated.
