Workshop On Social Science Research Methodology

The Department of Population Studies and Extension and Career Guidance of Bharathiar University will organise a workshop on “Social Science Research Methodology and Use of SPSS Software Package for Database Management and Analysis” from November 27 to 30 at the university. According to a university release, the workshop is expected to be useful to research scholars, university teachers, and those specifically pursuing research in social sciences like sociology, economics, commerce, education, geography, social work, political sciences and public administration.

The registration fee will be Rs. 500. Registration will be restricted to 40 people. Confirmation of participation will be based on the stage of research in case of research scholars. Interested candidates can send in the applications with a Demand Draft for Rs. 500 drawn in favour of The Registrar, Bharathiar University, to N. Audinarayana, Head, Department of Population Studies, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore – 641046.
