AJK Arts Collage Conducted 'Hospitality -2010'
The School of Hotel Management and Catering Science of AJK college of Arts and Science Coimbatore conducted a two day national conference on 'Hospitality -2010' recently. Around 30 colleges from various parts of India took part in the conference. The conference was inaugurated by Thiru N Suresh Rajan, Minister of Tourism and Registration, Government of Tamil Nadu.The aim of the conference was to create awareness about the challenges and opportunities in the hospitality industry and to highlight updates about the advancement in the industry. Vikram Cotah, Vice President , Radisson GRT Hotel Chennai in his session emphasised on communication and technical skill upgradation. B.Gopinath- Vice President and General Manager, The Residency, Coimbatore said that the industry shall overcome and will put in efforts together with Government and nodal bodies in order to gear up for the Commonwealth Games in 2010.
