Ex-servicemen and widows of ex-servicemen who wish to apply for education scholarships for their wards can now do so till December 31. According to the Assistant Director, Ex-servicemen Welfare, Coimbatore, those who wish to apply for the scholarship that falls under the aegis of the Prime Minister’s educational assistance scheme for 2008-09 can do so by downloading the application from the website
http://www.dgrindia.com/. The filled in application along with relevant documents should be submitted at the Ex-Servicemen Welfare.
