A garment printing unit worker in Tirupur was arrested on Saturday on charges of sending a bomb threat through e-mail to Madurai District Collector. Police said that three days ago, Madurai collector Seetharaman received an e-mail informing him that the Meenakshiamman temple in Madurai, Srirangam temple in Tiruchy and Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameswaram would be demolished by exploding bombs. The arrested was identified as Manimaran, of Samundipuram , near Tirupur.
