L&T Coimbatore Advisor Is One Of The Guest Of Honour

The second anniversary celebrations of Mangalore Heart Scan Foundation (MHF) will be held at IMA Hall in Attavar on Tuesday December 16 at 8 pm. The programme will be organized by MHF in association with Omega Hospital. The cardiac centre has been providing services to patients around the clock. The centre has completed over 3,500 MDCT angiographies and 5,500 procedures in all and helped prevent heart attacks in many patients. The benefit to patients has been immense and invaluable, said Dr K Mukund, chairman, MHF, speaking at the press conference on Saturday December 13 at 10.45 am.


Over 300 doctors are expected to attend the programme, he said. Dr H Prabhakar and Dr Devdas Acharya will display an image presentation of MDCT scan and angiography.Heart attack is the most common cause of death, said Dr Prabhakar, senior cardiologist, MHF. Krishna J Palemar, district in-charge minister, will inaugurate the ceremony while MLA U T Khader will inaugurate the MHF health cards on the occasion. Anantakrishna, chairman, Karnataka Bank, will preside over the function.




K Surendra, advisor, Larsen and Toubro Ltd, Coimbatore, Dr M Ambareesha, president, IMA, Anwar Manippady, former chairman, Minority Commission, Dr Naveenchandra M Shetty, senior radiologists, Dr Akbar Jallaluddin, onco surgeon, and Sanjay David, chief manager, Medical Solutions, Seimens Ltd, will be the guests of honour. Dr A V Shetty, professor, cardiology, and Dr K V Devadiga, professor, neurosurgery, will be felicitated on the occasion. Dr K Mukund, chairman, MHF, Dr H Prabhakar, director, MHF, and S L Bharadvaj, administrator, Omega Hospital, were present at the press conference.
