4 Kerala Youth Killed At Irugur Bypass Road

Four Kerala youth were killed and three others seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling hit the rear of a lorry near Irugur Bypass Road in the early hours of Tuesday. According to reports, five persons from Vadanapalli, near Trichur, who were working in Dubai, had come to their home town on a holiday. Then, they decided to celebrate the New Year in Bangalore.


The car, which was severely, damaged was dragged to a two-km stretch since the lorry driver was unaware of the mishap. It came to a halt only after a lorry driver from the opposite direction alerted the driver. However, four of them were killed on the spot and three others, who were seriously injured, were admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore. The deceased were identified as Sameer Ibrahim, Sabeer Hamsa, Arshad and Hathik. Police arrested lorry driver Loganathan. Police have registered a case.
