Adi Tamizhar Peravaai Workers Arrested
Seven Adi Tamizhar Peravaai workers were arrested today while attempting to stage picketing near the District Collectorate demanding protection to Tamils in Sri Lanka. The workers, including a woman, raised slogans in support of their demands, police said. The activists extended support to the fast undertaken by Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader, Thol Tirumavalavan.
