GKNM Celebrateing Silver Jubilee
The G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital Institute of Nursing will celebrate Silver Jubilee on January 24. A souvenir of the institute, Diya, will be released and an institution anthem, inducted for the first time, will be presented, Ramkumar Raghupathy, Dean, GKNM Hospital, told reporters here on Tuesday. A classical cultural show by students would also be conducted. “Foster Forum,” an alumni association, would be inaugurated. More than 2,000 alumni were expected to attend the programme. A sports meeting involving more than 55 nursing institutions from in and around Coimbatore would be organised at the GKD School, Perianaickenpalayam, on January 30. Athlete Shiny Wilson, would be the chief guest. A cultural meet would be organised on February 13 exclusively for students of Diploma in Nursing and Midwivery. It would include painting and quiz competitions.
