MicroWorld Eyes Coimbatore
MicroWorld is eying to be among the top five security players in the country this year. For this, the vendor will focus on the SMB market and will tap into the tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Anil Gupta, Head, National Sales, MicroWorld said, “With 60 percent of our business coming from the SMB market, we intend to focus mainly on this segment. Our objective will be supported by our flagship product—eScan 10 just launched in the market.”It has 75 regional distributors in the country and is now looking to increase company’s footprint in the tier-2 and tier-3 cities like Dehradun, Chhattisgarh, Coimbatore, Indore and Guwahati. On the retail side, the company already has alliances with Reliance and Staples, and is in talks with other majors like Croma, Next Gen and Vijay Stores.
