'Build Intec-2009' Starts From Feb-20th
The fourth edition of International Bulding and Construction Fair would be held In Coimbatore from Feb20. The four-day fair 'Build Intec-2009' would cover the entire gamut of construction industries and showcase the latest technological developments available in the field of construction, K Ilango, President, Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA), the organisers, told reporters today. With more than 200 stalls in indoor and some of heavy and earth moving equipment in outdoor area, on display would be tiles, building materials, furniture, interiors, sanitary and bathroom fittings, door and windows, roof and cladding, glass tiles, construction equipment, scaffolds, besides property developers, builders, land promoters and home loan issuing banks.Seminar on blended cements on Feb 21 and on construction materials on Feb 22 would be held as concurrent events. Stating that the fair would attract more than one lakh potential visitors, D Balasundaram, Chairman of the event, said it would also attract builders, civil and structural engineers, contractors, architects and road contractors from the entire region and the neighbouring Kerala State.
