44 Persons Arrested For Gambling
In a raid conducted against gambling in a recreation club at Malumichampatti, the Coimbatore Rural Police arrested 44 persons and recovered Rs. 1.25 lakh from them. Following a tip off about gambling in the club, the DIG of Police, Coimbatore Range, M. Ramasubramani and Superintendent of Police N. Kannan deputed a special team. The team led by Additional SP P. Jayapandian conducted the raid.
