Changes In traffic pattern At Hopes Collage
In view of the construction of a railway overbridge at the Hope College Junction, the City Police Commissioner, K.C. Mahali, has announced certain changes in the traffic pattern in the area from March 11. A release from the City Police said that vehicles using Kamarajar Road from Singanallur should take a left turn in front of “Sukshma Dynamic Mills” towards Rangasamy Layout and take a right turn at Masakkalipalayam Road to reach Avanashi Road at Vilankurichi – Avanashi Road Junction.
Similarly, the vehicles that use Kamarajar Road from Avanashi Road at Hope College should go through Masakkalipalayam Road and take a left turn to Rangasamy Layout and take a right turn to join Kamarajar Road at Sukshma Dynamic Mills. To reduce the traffic pressure at Rangasamy Layout, two-wheelers and light motor vehicles from Avanashi Road should take a left turn at Kamala Colony Road and reach Kamarajar Road. Only town buses would be allowed to ply on Kamarajar Road. Lorries and goods carriers will not be allowed on Kamarajar Road. They should use the Lakshmi Mills – Puliakulam – Pankaja Mill Road – Ramanathapuram Junction to reach Tiruchi Road.
