TV Quiz show on road saftey


Road Safety Resource Centre is organising a life saving TV quiz show on road safety.
A release from S. Suresh, founder of Youth Task Force – Accident Research Centre, said that the programme is to invite public to see the “World’s First Automobile” and also to participate in the road safety quiz competition derived out of India’s first, nationally certified book “Traffic Signs and Science” and many other important sources. The video production shall be edited and telecast later in a TV channel and the shooting is being planned for 31 days (May 2009).

The plan is to challenging 100 crore people on their knowledge on road rules and road safety and rewarding 110 bikes for the most knowledgeable drivers.Meeting in Belgium
Mr. Suresh said that Road Safety Resource Centre has been sponsored by World Health Organisation to participate in the world road safety meeting to be held in Belgium shortly.
Focusing on the opportunity would like to conduct Voice of Victim programme in partnership with a TV channel for a month during April 2009 where the victims could come and address their concern for road safety.

The edited exclusive part would be screened in Belgium. A video compilation of the same would be given to WHO for entry in their book faces meant for International Road Crash victims to convey their emotions.
