Freight rates dropped !
Delhi : Freight rates for 10-tonne pay load for select south region destinations on Saturday declined by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market following less arrivals of cargo along with easy truck positions.Transporters said better positions of trucks in the market as compared to the cargo movements mainly pulled down some of southern regions freight. Delhi to Kochi and Pondicherry freight rates dropped by Rs 1,000 each at Rs 36,000 and Rs 31,000 respectively.Bangalore, Mysore and Coimbatore freights too slipped by Rs 1,000 each at Rs 32,000, Rs 33,000 and Rs 35,000 respectively.
