Karunya University to offer M.Tech in water management
An M.Tech. course in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) will be offered by the Karunya University, Coimbatore from 2009-10.
Any engineering graduate and post graduate in physical sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics, geology, or environmental sciences) is eligible for this two-year inter-disciplinary course offered by the varsity.
The proposed course has been designed keeping in view the spirit of Agenda 21 of Rio Summit, the Dublin Conference and the Water Meets at Stockholm.The course is relevant in the context of integrated management of natural resources and holistic approach in resource management.
