Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST) has sanctioned a grant of Rs. 1.8 lakh to S. Paulsamy, Reader, Post-Graduate and Research Department of Botany, Kongunadu Arts and Science College. A college release says, the grant is for a research programme in “Development of Strategies for the in-vitro Regeneration of Two Locally Demanded Folklore Medicinal Plants in Coimbatore District” for two years.
