Employment exchange registration forms at schools

The District Employment Exchange has given registration forms to schools for those who have completed SSLC and want to register with the exchange. Regional Deputy Director (Employment) A. Latha told that the schools would distribute Class X mark sheets to the students on June 15. The registration forms were given to the schools through the Chief Educational Officer. Some of the interested matriculation schools had also taken the forms.

Ms. Latha said with this move the students need not come to the exchange for registration. They would be able to submit the applications at the schools till the end of the week. Normally, registrations were high after the Class X and Plus Two results were declared. When the Plus Two results were out this year, the employment office conducted camps in 24 places in the region, including 10 in Coimbatore and 55,000 candidates had registered during the first four days. She said the schools would hand over the filled registration applications to the employment office and the registration number would be given to the schools to be intimated to students as they would be residing in nearby places.

Matriculation schools interested in distributing the forms to their students could collect the applications from the exchange, she said.
