Light and Life Academy, an exclusive professional photography institute in Udhagamandalam, invites applications for its full-time one-year postgraduate diploma course in professional photography.The course, which will begin in August, offers specialisation in various kinds of photography – portrait, fashion, architecture and interiors, travel, Nature and fine arts. Admissions are on a first-some-first-served basis based on portfolio review and personal interview.Applicants should have talent in photography. He / she should be over 20 years of age and should have a passion to pursue a career in professional photography.An impressive portfolio with letters of recommendation from those who can vouch for the applicant’s talent will be considered.

After screening the portfolio, selected candidates will be called for a personal interview at the academy.Successful candidates will be notified of their admission soon after their interview.The course will be taught by qualified professional photographers. The course fee will be Rs. 4.15 lakh. Last date for submission of applications is June 30.A 100-day programme in photo journalism and short duration photography workshops are also conducted at the academy.
