3 Person Arrested For Having Deer Skin
Forest Department personnel on Monday arrested three persons hailing from the nari kurava community on charges of possessing ‘deer skin’ at R.S. Puram in the city. Three persons were found roaming around under suspicious circumstances on Father Rhondy Street in R.S. Puram. Members of OSAI, an NGO who spotted the trio informed the Forest Department.
Forest personnel recovered three skins that looked like that of deer and also some nails that were purportedly brought for selling as tiger nails. Forest officials are, however, suspicious about the genuineness of the skin and cut samples of the same are being sent for laboratory examination. Similarly, the genuineness of the tiger nails is also in question.
