Coimbatore To Host TCS IT Wiz 2009
Tata Consultancy Services will organise the 2009 edition of the TCS IT Wiz, a technology quiz for schools, here on August 25. According to a release, each school can send in multiple teams of two per team. It is open to students studying in standard VIII to standard XII. Entry is free. The quiz will focus on application of Information Technology across various sectors such as Internet, advertisements, software, communication, etc. Also areas where IT has made an impact like education, entertainment, books, multimedia, music, movies, banking, sports, gaming, blogs, etc., will be covered.
Winners will get laptops, while runners-up can win cameras and digital photo frames. Finalists too will receive prizes. Entries have to be sent through the schools before August 22 to the Quiz Co-ordinator, TCS IT Wiz Co-ordinator, Teknoturf Info Services Private Limited, KRV Tower, 126 G, Sengupta Street, Ramnagar, Coimbatore – 641009.
