SDE of BU extends admission date !
A one-year Executive MBA course is offered for graduates working at the managerial, supervisory or executive levels and having three years of experience.A five-year Integrated MBA is offered for candidates who have passed Plus-Two.Those who wish to discontinue after a year will be awarded a diploma.
Likewise, an advanced diploma will be awarded to those who have completed two years, a BBA degree for those completing three years, a PG diploma for those completing four years and an MBA degree for those who complete the whole course.
A one-year MCA programme is offered to candidates who have completed a post-graduate course in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Communication, Software Engineering and MBA Systems.
ConcessionsConcession is available to various categories of people. Teachers of approved educational institutions, Defence and police personnel, alumni of Bharathiar University and its affiliated colleges, press and media personnel can avail a 25 per cent concession.Women candidates are eligible for 10 per cent fee concession.Those with disability are provided free education.
Direct admission to second year undergraduate courses for relevant three-year diploma holders and second year admission to MCA for PG diploma candidates is possible.Also, there is no entrance examination for the courses.Candidates should walk into any of the study centres with their original certificates and attested copies.
Spot admissionFor spot admission, candidates have to fill in the application and pay the fee in any of the branches of the banks stipulated by the study centre.
City students can approach the centre at C.S.I. Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science, or the School of Distance Education at the university, for applications.They can also approach the spot admission cum learning centres approved by the university for the same.Students living in other parts of the country can spot the nearest study centre at the university website www.b-u.ac.in. Applications can also be downloaded from the website.
