IOB adds one more branch in Coimbatore
Coimbatore:Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, will inaugurate the Vadavalli,Coimbatore branch of Indian Overseas Bank and its automated teller machine facility here on March 11.According to a release issued here by the bank, a function will also be organised by the bank in order to disburse loans to people in priority sectors. This will include areas such as agriculture, small-scale industries and self help groups.The press release added that the new branch of the bank would cater to the credit needs of residents, farmers and entrepreneurs in the nearby villages, especially Kalveerampalayam, Somayampalayam and Maruthamalai of Coimbatore district.
