Lifestyle will open store in Coimbatore

Lifestyle International (P) Ltd, a part of the US 1.5 billion Landmark group of Dubai, will be rolling out 35 Lifestyle stores and 10 Home Centres across India in the next three years. “The company would be investing Rs 450 crore to fund the expansion,” Kabir Lumba, executive director, Lifestyle International (P) Ltd said.

The group’s largest store in the country totaling 1,20,000 sq ft is slated to open in Noida at the end of this calender year. “The Home Centre store would comprise of around 50,000 sq ft and remaining space would accommodate the Lifestyle store,” Lumba said. He was in Pune for the opening of the company’s first 70,000 sq ft store in the city. This is the company’s 10th Lifestyle store and the fourth Home Centre store in India. The company has invested around Rs 140 crore in India.


Currently,there are 14 stores across Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.The stores would come up at Jaipur, Noida,Coimbatore,Chandigarh, Kanpur, Lucknow , Ludhiana and Nagpur. These would offer customers the option of shopping for apparel, footwear and travel accessories, home décor and furniture. Lumba said that, the company had entered Spain with a standalone concept in footwear and would consider getting into similar standalone concepts in baby shops.
