Mega health show from todayCoimbatore: A `mega health show' will be held from March 16 to 18 at the Suguna Kalyana Mandapam here. It will include allopathy, naturopathy, ayurveda, unani and siddha. It will address physical and mental health problems caused due to modern lifestyle characterised by inappropriate food habits and lack of sleep.
Healthcare institutions such as hospitals, clinics, pharma companies and life and health insurance companies will participate. KG Hospital, Kovai Medical Center and Hospitals, Eye Foundation, Lotus Eye Care Hospital, Aviva Insurance, Birla Sunlife Insurance and Horlicks are some of the participants. Free health and eye camps will be part of the show. Blood tests and ECG can also be done at concessional rates.
An introductory yoga class will be conducted free of cost.

It will also have entertainment programmes including a `healthy baby contest' and a special comedy show. R. Sivakumar, managing director, Suguna Automobiles, will inaugurate the event. Entry is free. A `Mini Consumer Shopping Fair' will also be held along with the health show.
