Award money donated to juvenile home

Collector Neeraj Mittal is in the picture.The juvenile home in Coimbatore has received a donation of Rs.1lakh from GE International at a function held recently.According to a release, the amount is a part of the Gerald L. Phillippe Award that was given to J.Sathish Kumar, a member of Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Symphony, from GE International for his involvement in community service and his contribution to Rotaract clubs. Mr. Sathish Kumar was also installed as the new District Rotaract Representative for 2007-2008.The installation ceremony was followed by the District Assembly, in which rotaractors from all the clubs in Kerala and Tamil Nadu participated.
