The second spell of counselling will be held for diploma holders who wish to join the three-year engineering degree programme of the Anna University, Coimbatore.According to the Registrar of the university, the first counselling was held from July 30 to August 3. The second spell will be held on August 16 at the Government College of Technology campus.The university has received requests from many parents and students to conduct another round of counselling, because the earlier dates had gone unnoticed by them.Hence, the university has invited applications from desiring candidates. Applications will be available at the university from August 6 to 10.Candidates can choose from any of the following courses: civil, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication, mechanical, electrical and electronics, aeronautical, information technology and textile technology.
