KCT signs MoU
Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the IPSA Institute of Advanced Studies, Paris, France, recently.According to a college release, the MoU that was signed here by K. Arumugam, Correspondent of KCT, and Aime Merran, Director of IPSA Institute of Advanced Studies, would be for an academic partnership between these institutions.It would include student and faculty exchanges and internship facilities for the students undergoing studies in Aeronautic Engineering.It would also enable organising joint international conferences in emerging areas in aircraft designing and engineering.At present a student from the institute is undergoing internship at KCT under the guidance of K.Venkat Rao, Head of the Department, Aeronautic Engineering, on aircraft design engineering.Principal Joseph V. Thanikal visited the IPSA, Paris, this month to evaluate the infrastructure and facilities available at the institute and to discuss details of the bilateral agreement.The collaboration between these institutions would result in technical education and research. A six-month academic and industrial training would also be offered by KCT to the students of IPSA.
