MoU Signed

Correspondent of Kumuraguru College of Technology (left) and Ranjan Moodithaya, Head, KTMD, National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bangalore (right) signing a MoU at the college in the city.Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) here entered into a memorandum of understanding with National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bangalore, recently.The MoU was signed on bilateral conditions and for mutual benefits under the scope of institution-industry interaction protocol.
Signed by K. Arumugam, Correspondent of the college, and Ranjan Moodithaya, Head, Knowledge and Technology Management Division, NAL, the MOU would be for five years. It would include product development and exhibitions, human resource development, research consultancy and testing supports on either side.In the area of product development, KCT students would have the opportunity to work as plant trainees, major and minor project undertakers, take part in the design, assembly, testing, analysis and validation of various parts of “SARAS” and “Hansa” aircraft being manufactured by NAL.
The MOU would also involve NAL supplying a HANSA-3 trainer aircraft for study, understanding and testing by the students at KCT laboratories prior to their involving in the actual project works.The students would enjoy the benefits of greater exposure to aeronautical assembly, research and development and testing.It was also decided to organise a week-long events of aeronautics in 2008 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of NAL and Silver Jubilee of KCT.
