Lambodhara planning to invest 15 Cr

Lambodhara Textiles Ltd of Coimbatore is planning to spend Rs15.75 crore for the expansion and modernisation of its mill in Palani Taluk in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu. The company plans to install 8,128 additional spindles, 12 sets of LMW-make LR6/S ring frames of 1,008 spindles, four Savio-make polar L autoconers to be imported from Italy, two Trumac DK 800 Carding machines, two LMW LF 1400A speed frames, two Lakshmi Caipo Slub generators, humidification plant and other new accessories and electrical fittings.

The company will also construct additional buildings of 47,852 square feet. For this expansion and modernisation plan, the company will get a term loan of Rs12 crore under the Technology Upgradation Funds Scheme (TUFS) of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Promoters will contribute the remaining Rs3.75 crore.
