3 day international conference (ATNT)
The sixth edition of three-day international conference on 'Advances in Textiles machinery, Nonwoven and Technical textiles' (ATNT-2009) would commence at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology in Sathyamangalam near Erode on December seven.The conference would focus on finding solutions to the difficulties faced by Indian Textile Industry and provide information on new market opportunities for global players, an institute release said here today.
Key topics include technology and marketing of technical textiles, eco-friendly textiles, functional finishes, nanotechnology in textiles, defence textiles and new development in spinning, weaving and processing, it said.
The conference would enhance textile sector's core competency and discussions related to international tie-up opportunities in both technology and marketing, it said.The conference, being jointly organised by Texas Tech University and the institute, would bring industrial and academic experts from many parts of the world to deliberate on latest topics in the field of value-added textiles, it added
