Candidates will be selected for job-oriented weavers and fitters training at an interview to be held on South India Textile Research Association premises on February 27.A release from the association said candidates applying for weaver training should have passed Standard VIII and aged below 40. They should belong to Scheduled Castes or backward class or most backward class.The annual family income should be Rs. 50,000 or less. For the fitter training, candidates should have passed Standard X and should be aged below 30. Training would be conducted at the association here or at the powerloom service centres at Palladam, Somanur and Tiruchengode.
