ATM Cum e-ticketing Facility
Coimbatore District Collector V. Palanikumar has inaugurated Indian Bank’s ATM with e-ticketing facility at the Coimbatore Railway Station. According to a bank release, this is the first ATM with e-ticketing facility here and the 38th ATM of the bank in this circle. This facility will enable passengers to book their ticket through the special e-ticketing kiosk attached to the ATMs. The ATMs are operational for 24 hours a day.
Thus, the passengers will be able to buy ticket using the ATM cards. Apart from the Indian Bank ATM cards, cards of other select banks can also be used. Arrangements are on to open a similar one at the Udhagamandalam Railway Station shortly.
