MoU Signed

According to a university release, the department of bio-medical instrumentation of the faculty of engineering of the university has tied up with the medical equipment manufacturer for placement, industry training, project assistance and technical guidance. The MoU was signed by D. Shanthakumar, Managing Director of the company, and the Chancellor of the university T.K. Shanmuganandam. The company specialised in manufacture and distribution of critical care, diagnostic and operation theatre equipment. Its team of research and development personnel would help in the research activities of the students. The scope of the MoU would also entail the university to get technical assistance in developing its laboratories. Both the parties would interact to develop an equipment testing laboratory to perform calibration and validation jointly.
