A 36-year-old electrical shop-owner was injured, when a three member gang attempted to murder him by throwing petrol bombs and sickle on him in the city today. Police said Danial (36), after opening his shop here found that the gang allegedly led by Ganja Murugan, came in an auto and threw petrol bombs and sickle on him. he attack was made due to previous enmity. Danial was admitted to Coimbatore Medical College (CMC) Hospital and said to be out of danger. Efforts were on to trace Ganja Murugan and his associates, Police added.
