Bullets Recoverd From Passenger
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at Coimbatore Airport on Tuesday recovered two bullets from a passenger who was scheduled to travel by a Chennai bound flight. During the security check of the luggage of Chetti Kaliappan (50), panchayat president of a village in Avanashi Panchayat Union, the security personnel spotted two bullets belonging to the .32 firearm.Bullets had come onto the luggage inadvertently
He said he was a licence holder for a fire-arm and clarified that the bullets had come onto the luggage inadvertently. The CISF personnel seized the bullets and after obtaining an explanation from the passenger, he was allowed to fly to Chennai. CISF personnel have preferred a complaint with the Peelamedu police.
